Alida was Production Manager for the 2008 Canadian Badlands Passion Play, held each year in a natural amphitheater in Drumheller, Alberta. This annual production, in its 15th year during 2008, incorporates over 100 cast members, onstage music, dance, a full choir, and live animals into a production that utilizes the natural resources of the outdoor setting to create a theatrical experience attended by over 10,000 audience members.
Alida's responsibilities included creating the template for all contracts, revising and re-writing job descriptions for all staff members, overseeing salary negotiations, and other miscellaneous personnel issues; working with the directors and production team to maintain a budget; overseeing all timelines and progress of each individual department; and creating opportunities for community building, volunteer appreciation, and growth within the cast and crew.
